Since its founding in 2005 by various local galleries, the Gallery Weekend Berlin has attracted art lovers year after year to the city's most exciting exhibition spaces, off-spaces, and artist studios. It has long become an integral part of the cultural calendar and serves as a global model for similar events in other cities.
