When Abdul Rahman Munif embarked on the first extensive study in Arabic about Marwan Kassab Bachi, he mailed the artist asking about how his art emerged, its contextual influences, and timely interpretations. Marwan recorded his answers on seven audio tapes and sent them to Munif, but also started writing his memoirs in Arabic.
