Artist photographers of today have an immense new repertoire of potential forms of design and expression at their fingertips. XL Photography, with its close to 200 large-format works by 14 photographers, ranging from the ironic picture stories by Anna and Bernhard Blume to the landscape images by Axel Hütte, interior photographs by Candida Höfer and the provocating erotic stagings by Nobuyoshi Araki, for the first time presents the photograph collection of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange assembled by Jean-Christophe Ammann, the Director of the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt. The originals may be seen at the Neue Börse building from November 2000.
