The Eventful History of Berlin's Bebelplatz
Berlin's Bebelplatz, in the heart of the capital, is a place with an eventful historical past. It was here in 1933 that the notorious Nazi book burning took place, where thousands of books were destroyed by fire. Today, the square serves as a memorial and a reminder of the dark times of German history and stands for the importance of freedom of speech.
We look forward to your visit!
