The Yellow Book turns to the practice of scientific research to produce an encyclopedic collection of the multiple meanings and functions of lemons and the color yellow, leading the artist to immerse himself in the well of historical, psychological, medical, and cultural connotations of the color yellow. The book, in a Japanese binding, includes essays on the color yellow. Inside, on the uncut pages, are more than five hundred of He Xiangyu`s drawings, titled Research on Yellow.

The work of Team V Architecture is informed by the confidence in architecture’s incontrovertibility. The book offers the first overview of Team V’s architectural practice, featuring projects that cover a broad spectrum, from interior to urban design. They particularly stand out due to their approach toward the intricate relationship between architectural appearance and argument. Consequently, the book, which deals with this thesis in general, is also committed to the idea that form is not the result of free will or determinism, but rather the logical consequence of a complex debate about why and how a certain form can embody a project's values, solutions, and aspirations.
