By photographing mountains - always in the same excerpt, but over a certain period of time - these monuments of immovability begin to shift and reveal a movement that we do not feel itself: the rotation of the earth in space. Based on the beginnings of color photography, van Aarle separated the various pictures in cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Laid on top of each other, reveal the subtle traces of the offense of time in spherical shades of color. The effect is so ethereal that it seems when the rocks existed in a different dimension - as if the soft shades are coming up from the geological history of the mountains.
