It reveals an ongoing obsession of organic matter, the almond tree initially interweaves through manipulations in the dark chamber and finally digitally to a surreal abstract visual language full of physical sensitivity. Their image world spans the history of the medium, including the photogram and multiple exposures. By incorporating techniques of sculpture, collage and drawing, Mandelbaum invents a ambiguous and sensual language of the surprise.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnn Mandelbaum (*1945) has been working with the camera and plastic materials from which her sculptural work is created for 40 years. She teaches visual art at the Pratt Institute in New York as well. Your work was shown in international solo exhibitions.
