The architect, already known for his design of the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt, the Getty Center in Los Angeles, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, refers to it as a “jewel in the park.” In the manner of a California mansion, the building that houses the superb private collection is distinguished by its clear structure, transparency, and openness, and it has been elegantly connected to the austerely neo-Classical Kunsthalle adjacent to it. This new, revised edition presents the museum in numerous sketches, plans, and new photographs, as well as in essays by art historians and architecture critics about the structure, its function, and its location.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0582/8948/8049/files/odoo_9783775728126_323b41ed-a28c-43d6-b63b-e6399e28b525.jpg?v=1744120015
