This enchanting volume presents 160 of the best original photographs from the estate of Regina Relang (1906-1989). She began working for Vogue in 1938, and became one of the leading German fashion photographers in the fifties and sixties. Relang's spectacular photographs from fashion shoots at the haute couture presentations in Paris were featured twice a year in all of the major fashion magazines in Germany. This book focuses on the fine vintage prints of Relang's early reportages and fashion photography of the fifties and sixties, while also providing insight into the historical context of her work.
