Book launch of Andreas Schmidt's new volume of photographs

German photographer Andreas Schmidt documents the seductive glamour of urban financial palaces while never losing sight of their inhuman exorbitance. Taken at night, he shows the City of London devoid of people and life and thus makes its coldness and power all the more visible.

Pure Evil Gallery London will host a book launch for "The City" on November 26, 2009, from 6 pm. The artist will be present and signed copies of the book will be available at a special price of £ 25. (RRP £32.50).
